The Deaf Community

There's much that many people outside the deaf community don't know about it. That's why I am here to write you just what it's like, and just how special a community it actually is.

First, I want to tackle the misperceptions people have about the Deaf.

Second, I want to share with you what the deaf community actually is, and what it is like, and what they have to go through in a hearing world. The challenges, as well as the Advantages. Yes, I said advantages.

And lastly, I want to let you all know that you will one day (in old age, a tragic accident, or simply listening to music too loudly) be deaf, and it is relevant to your life to learn about it. So pay attention. ;)

1. Misperceptions:

2.  The Deaf Community:
First off, despite what you hearing may think, deaf people actually really love their community. They even see it as superior in some ways because it brings about a certain level of depth that simply put, isn't quite the same in the hearing world.

??This is why you will find that deaf people, are actually extremely smart, intuitive, depthful, quick witted and sharp, and extremely good at reading body language, and cues about people that are most often missed by the hearing community.
3. Relevance:
